Photoshop practice with plants

i just used a brush on this with some pastelle colours
i kept it simple and i think it addded colour but wasn't an amazing thing to do to it.

i got rid of a lot of the ink in this by selecting it and deleting it
and the bottom one is inverted both i think give it a handmade print effect to them.

i wasn't too sure how i fully ended up with this i just kept messing around with layers
and i think it worked well. The green on black gives it an almost glow

Pictionary

here is my sheet from when we played pictionary my word was grow.
it was hard to think outside to box with that word cause all i could think about was plants
even when i turned to google for added assistance all i still got was plants. My main way of
illustrating this word was through a series of before and after drawings.

Observational Plant Drawings

here are different monochrome drawings of a plant.
for this plant drawing i used a fine brush and tried to focus on the plant in detail such as focusing
on the lines of the branches and leaves and adding a little bit of tone 

for this one i switched to a red ink and used a bigger wash
i concentrated on getting a light wash and then worked over it
with more concentrated ink. this emphasised certain tones.

this one i went in with my thickest brush
i usually work with small media but i think the thick brush
added bold tones to my drawing.

100 uses for a bottle

This is an example of a couple of pages of my 100 ways to recycle a bottle
from early on, i used a simple character to support my ideas.
after a few drawings i started to like this character so most of the
drawings include him.

i wanted to focus specifically on the more darker uses as this added
humour to it. I think this worked well as recycling is seen as a
good and moral activity. So it's more entertaining to add an evil twist to it.

There where many uses for a bottle that involved animals this could be a
potential idea for the final thing.

This is a few examples of me trying other medias.
I think the felt tip worked well as the bold colours added more
to the line drawings. However the control on crayons is hard so it would only
work on a larger scale.

This is a poster contaiing 40 different ideas. this is where i got the idea of the character initially from.
